Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat is releasing on Eid i.e. June 5, 2019, and while fans are super thrilled to watch Salman Khan as Bharat, but one factor that has doubled the excitement for the film are its songs. While fans have been treated to songs such as ‘Slow Motion’ and ‘Chashni’, and it was earlier reported that the film will have a plethora of songs because Bharat celebrates different festivals of India and therefore, the film will have a variety of songs. Now, in the latest, it is being reported that the director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar, is making his debut as a lyricist and composer with the song Zinda, which also happens to be the anthem of the film. That’s right! Knowing Ali’s director, he lays a lot of emphasis on the anthem of his films and it will be interesting to see what has Ali in store for everyone.
“It was originally a poem which I had written while scripting the film and the core message of the film is that belief and conviction keep you alive,” Ali informed Mirror. When Ali was quizzed if Salman Khan knows about the fact that he is making his debut as a composer with the film, the director said that he doesn’t discuss such things with Salman. “Bhai doesn’t know yet, we don’t share these small details, he knows I keep doing something or the other. But this time I think he will be surprised. Of course, he’ll pull my leg saying, ‘So now you’ve started writing songs too, now you will ask for an extra cheque. That’s the kind of bond we share’”, Ali said.
But talking about the track that Ali has composed, he said, “It is an uplifting track and infuses (Salman) him with the strength of purpose.” The song is sung by Vishal and the song is played in the film when Bharat aka Salman Khan is on a high or has hit a low. Talking about the film, Bharat is loosely based on the 2014 South Korean melodrama An Ode To My Father. Bharat stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover in lead roles.
