Baahubali producer accuses Emirates Airlines of unnecessary racism and harassment

Baahubali: The Beginning has been making a lot of noise on the social media and in mainstream news for both good and the bad reasons.

After being surrounded with a lot of controversies, here is another news doing the rounds.

Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda, who was in Dubai to promote his film, apparently faced racist and rude behaviour from the staff of Emirates Airlines while flying back to Hyderabad.

Yarlagadda took to Twitter to express his displeasure towards the airline.

In his tweets, Yarlagadda mentioned how the Dubai-based air carrier didn’t just mistreat the team but they were racist as well.

In his first tweet, Yarlagadda said, “Flying to Hyd on @emirates EK526. Airline staff at gate B4 were very rude n harassed our team unnecessarily! Bad attitude n service!”

Slamming the rude behaviour, he again tweeted, “I think one of the @emirates staff was being racist.. I fly @emirates regularly n this is 1st time I have come across this kind of attitude.”

The team of Baahubali including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, director SS Rajamoul, Anushka Shetty along with the producer were flying to Hyderabad from Dubai when they had to face the racism and rude behaviour from the Airlines staff.

Emirates then responded to his posts and asked for his booking reference so they could investigate.

“@Shobu_ Hi Shobu, we’re sorry to hear this. Please share your booking reference via DM, so we can look into this.”

Interestingly, in absolutely fresh news, Emirates Airlines has also been awarded the Best Airline at Dubai awards event.

What an irony.

Baahubali: The Begininning, which released in 2015 was a blockbuster at the box-office and it made over 600 crores worldwide.

Baahubali: The Conclusion, which is a prequel to Baahubali: The Beginning, has been made at a budget of Rs 200 crore and will hit the theatres on April 28.

The prequel of Baahubali has also surpassed the record of Aamir Khan’s Dangal in online booking.
