The wait for Avengers: Endgame was finally over with the film’s release and the stars of the film keeping the story especially the climax a top secret. The MCU also saw the release of Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and The Wasp, while everyone couldn’t help but patiently wait for the final concluding part. The Marvel fans were given a good amount of time to come up with theories and dream of what Russo brothers will bring to the table in the form of Avengers: Endgame. One of these theories was that Ant-Man and Thanos’ purple butt.
The fan theory goes in a way that Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man will have a final battle with the mad Titan, Thanos. It was a joke that Scott Lang could shrink thereby entering Thanos’ anus, and then grow within him and subsequently killing Thanos by blasting him up from the inside. It sounds silly and is an idea that will be trolled forever, but the Endgame writer Stephen Markus officially punctured the t wild theory.
It could not have been done in a better way. While speaking to Empire Online, Stephen Markus admits that Ant-Man absolutely had no way to kill Josh Brolin’s character of Thanos. The ever so powerful antagonist was difficult to deal with even without the Infinity Stones and would have very easily defeated any kind of attack by Scott Lang, even if it was done from Thanos’s behind. Thanos could have done without the Stones, as we witnessed his original fight with the Hulk’s character in the Infinity War film. If at all Ant-Man had thought of directly facing Thanos, it would have resulted in a defeat sadly.
