Avengers: Endgame which was the most awaited movie of the year was released on April 26 and since then the movie has been smashing box office records. MCU fans are heartbroken as the movie is seemingly the last MCU flick of Iron Man and Captain America. Talking about Cap, he is retired but do you think Captain America (Chris Evans), who once briefly stalled Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Wakanda was mighty enough to wield the Infinity Gauntlet which was done by Iron Man in the movie.
Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame co-writer Christopher Markus recently revealed the same. He said,” I think Steve would be toast. He added,“I think in that moment, Thanos is impressed by Steve’s will. He’s like, ‘I can’t believe this guy who apparently has no powers is trying this.’ He’s almost like, ‘Really? Really?’”
Speaking of Hulk, the makers revealed that he is the only capable avenger to survive such a feat. For the unversed, he brings back trillions and it came with a cost as his right arm is now irreparably damaged. Joe Russo told Comicbook.com,”He’s lost an arm. He lost Natasha (Scarlett Johansson). That’s not coming back.”
He added, “He’s damaged himself. I don’t know. It’s interesting. That’s permanent damage, the same way that it was permanent damage with Thanos. It’s irreversible damage. His arm, if you noticed, is a lot skinnier. It’s blackened. So, he loses a lot of strength there.” When asked whether Hulk’s injury can be reversed to which Joe said he doesn’t know but also added how there are a lot of smart people left.
