These two dialogues happen to be ‘I love you 3000’ and ‘I am Iron Man.’ As revealed by the directors of the film, Joe and Anthony Russo, it was one of Downey’s own children who first said the words ‘I love you 3000’ to him and this is how the line was later incorporated in the script.
Similarly, the lines ‘I am Iron Man’ were also added much later to the script of the movie. As revealed by the directors, Iron Man initially said nothing after Thanos says ‘I am inevitable.’ But later on it was felt that Iron Man must give a reply to Thanos. After much discussions, the editor of the movie Jeff Ford recommended this epic dialogue which was later executed to perfection by Robert Downey Jr in the movie. So, it can be said that Robert Downey Jr should be credited for the incorporation of these two famous dialogues in the movie.
