Avengers: Endgame is easily the highly anticipated movie of 2019. The movie, which is already breaking box-office records globally as well as domestically, could become the biggest movie of the decade. At the LA premiere of Avengers: Endgame yesterday, many critics were left with tears and were all praises for the three-hour spectacle. The cast has been busy these past few weeks with the promotional activities for the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film. Whether it be interviews in LA, or in different countries like South Korea, the UK and Shanghai, the OG 6 Avengers, along with Paul Rudd and Brie Larson has got the fandom excited and how.
Recently, Jimmy Fallon’s talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon released a cool Avengers video featuring the main cast as they sing the superhero version of Billy Joel’s classic tune – We Didn’t Start The Fire. The song took us on a nostalgic trip as they recapped the past decade of the MCU with lyrics like, “Tony Stark, Iron Man, Nick Fury, Has a Plan, Big Shock, Pepper Potts, Arc Reactor Core…Asgard, Ancient War, Loki and his brother Thor…Bruce Banner, Radiation, Transformation Roar…Clint Barton, Hawkeye…Black Widow, Russian Spy…Captain Rogers, World War 2, Bucky, Peggy, I love you, First Avenger, here we go, everyone assemble!”
The video ended on an emotional note with a picture of the great Stan Lee, without whom the MCU would have never existed in the first place.
