Last Sunday, the entire nation held their breath as India took on Pakistan at Old Trafford in England. Among everyone there for the match, if there was a star who stole the show, it was Ranveer Singh. The star of the upcoming film, ‘83 was in London for the match and not just as a spectator, but also a commentator. Ranveer’s energy and happiness while meeting Indian players was basically a reflection of all of us. His friend, Arjun Kapoor also agreed with this and left a sweet comment on his post.

While Ranveer was in the commentary box, the world enjoyed his hilarious antics and fans couldn’t stop appreciating his fashion sense. Today, Ranveer shared a couple of posts from the match including a video where he is seen cheering for India. On that video, his close friend Arjun Kapoor left a super cute comment which all his fans could agree to. Arjun didn’t just praise Ranveer for his commentary and energy, he also called him the best player of the pitch. Arjun and Ranveer often poke fun while commenting on each other’s post and this time, it was the case again.

Ranveer Singh shared posts where he is seen meeting Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and other players of the team. The Gully Boy star is in Scotland and England for the shoot of his upcoming film, ‘83 which also stars Deepika Padukone. The film is based on the 1983 World Cup and on the life of Kapil Dev. Deepika will be seen playing Ranveer’s wife and will essay Romi Dev on screen. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi who will be seen playing the coach of the Indian Cricket team. ‘83 is slated to release on April 10, 2020.
