Celebrities who have made it big are sitting at the echelon of fame because someone recognised their potential to become a star and gave them their helping hand.
Such godfathers should never be forgotten and it seems like Anushka Sharma also knows the rule.
The actress bumped into her godfather i.e. ace fashion designer Wendell Rodricks at the Mumbai airport.
And guess what, she happily met him and also got clicked to capture the beautiful moment.
Wendell Rodricks posted the picture on his official Instagram account where the duo is happily posing for the camera.
He captioned the pic as, “Guess who I found at Bombay airport right now, seven years after spotting her in Bangalore and bringing her to Bombay? @anushkasharma @anushkaslays.”
What a lovely picture.
Well, for those who don’t know Wendell Rodricks happened to spot Anushka at a denims shop in Bangalore and knew that he had to have her as a part of his fashion show. And thus was born a superstar.
Anushka Sharma started her modeling career at the Lakme Fashion Week as a model for Wendell Rodricks’s Les Vamps Show.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma has announced her new project Pari.
The film will be produced under the banner of Clean Slate Films which is owned by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma and KriArj Entertainment.
The film will be directed by debutant Prosit Roy and will also feature Bengali star Parambarata Chatterjee in a prominent role.
While speaking about the film, Anushka Sharma had told media a few days ago, “At Clean Slate Films, we focus on a good, engaging story above all else. With new talent, we get to work on newer ideas and innovative concepts. Pari is a great script, and I have complete faith in Prosit’s vision as well as this collaboration with KriArj Entertainment.”
