Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on fashion police: If it gets nasty, I am going to react
She arrived. She conquered, She left.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan proved yet again why she is the true Queen of Cannes Film Festival. On both the days of her appearances, the actress stunned and silenced all with her ethereal charm and timeless beauty.
On Day 1, Aishwarya looked like royalty in her baby blue embroidered gown by Michael Cinco. The fitted bodice and the dramatic skirt was a no brainer. The big gown needed minimal styling and her simple hair and makeup rounded the look out perfectly. On Day 2, a red embroidered bodice gown by Ralph and Russo, featuring a tiered skirt with a train looked gorgeous on her. The strapless gown was styled with a darker maroon lip, dangling earrings and soft curls.
With B-Town actresses, there always is the fashion police who critique everything. So does Aishwarya get bothered by them? To this, the actress replied to a leading tabloid, “Every time I make an appearance, I am being judged. I am a normal human being and obviously, if it gets nasty, I am going to react. But I have always joked that I go with the flow and the audience can enjoy the show,”
On her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, who made her debut on the Cannes Red Carpet, Aishwarya stated that she has a normal upbringing. “I was joking with her teacher before we left for Cannes that I am going over the weekend to play fancy dress for Aaradhya,” she added.
Aishwarya is now back in India as she and Aaradhya were snapped at the Mumbai airport last night.
