Singer and reality show judge Adnan Sami is not only known for his talents but also for an active social media presence. Adnan Sami does not hold back from voicing his opinions on Twitter to thousands of netizens who have questioned his nationality time and again. The singer who hails from Pakistan got his citizenship of India a few years ago and is now an Indian citizen. So, it came as no surprise then when Sami was flooded with questions from netizens as well as trolls on Pakistan’s Independence Day — August 14.
However, Adnan Sami’s polite comeback to a user was noteworthy. On August 14, a Twitter user asked the singer why hasn’t he wished his fans on Pakistan’s Independence Day. The user tweeted, “@AdnanSamiLive Why don’t you tweet for Independence Day?”
To this, the singer politely hit back at the troll and replied, “I will… Tomorrow!” Apart from this one question, Twitter users flooded Adnan Sami with questions. The singer chose to answer the questions in his own style. Another user tweeted, “I’m seeing All the indians saying “Proud of You” Can You imagine that upto what extent those people are sick , that they are honouring a man who did’nt proved faith-full to his mother-land. How could he prove to be loyal to the country against which his father fought war.”
Adnan shot back saying, “Really… Jinnah was not faithful to his motherland… What should we call him then?”
