Deepika Padukone has been busy filming for her next film ‘Chapak’ and the shoot for the film is undergoing in the capital these days. This is her first film that she’s working on after her nuptials with her longtime boyfriend Ranveer Singh in Italy in December of last year. The actress took some time off from her shooting as she had to attend her cousin’s wedding in Mumbai, where Ranveer also accompanied her. It was interesting to know that Deepika’s cousin got married to actress Amrita Rao’s cousin.
If it’s a wedding, it definitely has to be an Indian look. The actress wore a saree for the event and looked every bit of the gorgeous diva that she is. Her choice of outfit for the wedding was a saree from Rohit Bal’s Guldasta collection, which as the name suggests was high on floral motifs. The ivory saree had red and gold floral embroidered all over and had a pleated border running on the sides, which was a nice detail to the look.
The runway look was presented with a sleeveless blouse, however Deepika opted for a sheer fabric halter neck blouse, which I’m not sure was the right choice. I like how the other blouse made the look feel a lot lighter and simpler. The halter neck blouse cluttered the look a little. For her styling, she wore a pair of gold earrings and wore her hair in a classic bun, which was decorated with red roses.
